3527 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD 21704
About our Urbana office
Our Urbana office serves the southern end of Frederick County, an area that has grown considerably over the past decade. Families, professionals, and young adults who live and work along the I-270 corridor often find this location more convenient than driving into downtown Frederick, especially during rush hour. The office is accessible from Route 355 and I-270.
The clinical team at Urbana works with children, adolescents, teens, and adults. Specialties include anxiety, depression, dissociation, trauma, attachment, grief, mood disorders, ADHD, BPD, addiction, and relationship concerns. Several therapists here are EMDR certified, and the team also offers IFS, ACT, mindfulness, somatic approaches, sandtray therapy, and play therapy. Therapy is available in both English and Spanish.
The Urbana office is also home to our site supervisor, Marlee Bardenett, who oversees clinical work at this location. Marlee brings expertise in dissociation, attachment, and ego state approaches, and has prior experience supporting teens in psychiatric crisis settings. Urbana's team is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and several clinicians have specific experience working with BIPOC, Hispanic, and neurodivergent individuals.
