About Kevin
Kevin Skiles is a National Board-Certified Counselor, a Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health in Delaware, and a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland. He holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He works with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, with particular interest in neurodivergent clients, grief and loss, and trauma. He also supports people through communication challenges in relationships, adverse childhood events, life changes, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. He is trained in EMDR, and his humanistic, person-centered approach makes room for every story without judgment.
Clients often describe Kevin as a calm presence and a good listener who helps them open up with intuition and humor. He treats client feedback as central to his own growth, and stays flexible in how, when, and where he meets with people.
