About Nkechi
Nkechi Achinanya is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who treats each client as an individual, assessing what they need from both medication management and psychotherapy. She specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and depression, with particular expertise in autism spectrum and neurodivergent clients, and sees preteens through adults 65 and older.
Care starts with an intake session to get to know you and what your concerns look like, then working collaboratively on a medication plan, in coordination with your therapist and the wider team. Nkechi earned her BS in Nursing from the University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in psychiatry from Walden University.
